Simon is a firm believer in ensuring equal opportunities for all. Among the many improvements he has instigated and supported in Taunton, he is particularly proud of the revitalised Victoria Park, with its variety of playground facilities.

Simon was also instrumental in the removal of ‘legal highs’ from our town. He is pleased to see the progress finally being made at Firepool after a decade of inaction by the Conservatives and to have supported the Liberal Democrat initiative to plant hundreds of trees locally.
