Hi, I'm David Northey.

I live in Malvern Terrace and I'm standing to be your local councillor for Priorswood.

If you can't get a bus to Musgrove Park Hospital, you can't get to your appointment. 5,000 people a week rely on the Number 1 bus and the service has been cut from every 15 minutes to every 30. I launched the 'Better Bus Services for North Priorswood' petition and 1,100 of you have signed it. Last June, I campaigned successfully to get the 6.22am Number 1 to Musgrove reinstated for key workers.

I'm pushing for a more regular Number 1 service, a Sunday service, and better reliability. As co-chair of the Somerset Bus Partnership, I know how to hold bus companies and the council to account and I've already delivered results.
